GEORGE P. MCCUEN
President
Our firm was founded by George P. McCuen, a Napa native who also serves as our President. George began his career with IDS Financial Services in 1987. In 1990 he completed the certification process to become a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and in 1992 became a Registered Investment Advisor. By 1994 George was the president of a boutique money management and financial planning firm in Napa. He was asked to serve on TD Ameritrade’s Institutional Services 12 member Advisory Panel from 2000 – 2002 and currently serves on TD Ameritrade’s President’s Council. Additionally George is a member of NIFAP, a national 19-member independent panel of investment managers.
George lives in Napa with his wife Maria and together they have three children, Patrick, Colin and Brogan. A musician himself, George is the president of the Napa High School Band and Orchestra Boosters. He enjoys jazz and classical music and works closely with the Napa High School band musicians. George has been a soccer coach for 10 years although he has hung his cleats up to spend more time with young musicians. George also enjoys scuba diving as well as running and cycling.
